The Code of Jewish Conduct is adapted from Sefer Mishpatei HaShalom, written by Rabbi Yitzchak Silver. Rabbi Silver is a Dayan and a Moreh Horaah for students in the Mirrer Yeshiva in Jerusalem. Rabbi Silver was a member of the first Linas HaTzedek Kollel. Today, Rabbi Silver serves as a Rosh Kollel in the Linas HaTzedek Kollelim. He is also a much sought-after lecturer on Hilchos Bein Adom L'Chavero. Under the auspices of the Center for Jewish Values, Rabbi Silver authored the Mishpatei HaShalom series. This Hebrew language series summarizes and encapsulates many areas of Bein Adom L'Chavero and their practical application. To date, tens of thousands of copies of these sefarim are in circulation, and their popularity continues to grow. However, until today, the impact of these books has been limited to Hebrew speakers.
